Hendrik Handorf
Technical Sales Manager, Stadler
Hendrik Handorf joined Stadler in July 2019 as a sales engineer, primarily focusing on process flows, mass balances and layout design. In July 2022, he was promoted to technical sales manager, a role that expanded his responsibilities to include more emphasis on customer relations and financials. Despite these additional duties, he continues to work extensively on process flows and equipment selection.
Hendrik’s primary focus is on projects in the United States, but he also collaborates with colleagues from Stadler’s international sales office on projects in various other regions. This global involvement provides a comprehensive overview of different approaches and available technologies worldwide, enabling us to leverage the best solutions for our clients.
He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering and a master's degree in environmental engineering with a specialization in recycling from RWTH Aachen University. The latter program emphasized an in-depth technical understanding of recycling equipment and comprehensive process engineering. This included planning entire systems while considering all relevant interfaces, such as legal and civil aspects, with a primary focus on the technical processes involved.
While a student, Hendrik worked for an engineering company that specialized in planning incinerator bottom ash (IBA) plants and biological treatment facilities and interned at Steinert, further enhancing my practical experience in the field.
